Bi-Annual Meeting. The Bi-Annual Meeting of the District will be held on April 12, 2008, at Marian Council in Cherry Hill, starting with Mass at 9:00am. As per section 14(a) of Article V, of the Fourth Degree Bylaws, each assembly is entitled to one delegate for every 100 members or major fraction thereof (i.e. 51-99 members) plus the Navigator. A contribution of $8 per person is requested to help defray the cost of refreshments. Please send check (made out to “K of C Fourth Degree”) and the number of Sir Knights attending to my Secretary, David P. Busarello. We would like the money paid in advance (no-shows who had promised to pay at the door have caused us to lose money in the past). You can also use the web site form, but a separate check should be mailed to my Secretary.
The main
issues on the agenda will be the nominations for Master, the convention in
May, and the Master’s Communion Breakfast. As to the breakfast, it's time
again to start planning this annual event. Last year, Trenton hosted it, so
this year it is the Camden Diocese's turn. I will be looking for an
assembly in Camden to host the affair. Any and all interested Navigators
should contact me as soon as possible. I want all of the details worked
out, so that they can be discussed at the meeting.
